Not only does YummySoup! support fully automatic web imports, but also boasts the most intuitive interface for importing recipes from any website, even recipes in PDF format from ANY site!


The AnySite web importer is the best solution for importing recipes into YummySoup! from websites that are not supported by the automatic web imports function. The idea is very simple, highlight part of the recipe that represents one of the toolbar buttons then press that button. Your highlighted text will become permanently highlighted in the color of the corresponding button. This intuitively shows you how the recipe will be imported. You could say it’s a piece of cake :).

Even with the addition of this wonderful feature, I will still be developing more fully automatic web imports. Not every website can support automatic web imports, and the sheer number of recipe sites is mind boggling.

Dragging a URL into the Visual Browser or the recipe selection table will open the AnySite Web Importer and load the URL. You can also access this feature from the File menu.

Highlight the title and press the title button. Highlight the description and press the description button, etc... There even is an image drop box in the toolbar to drag and drop the recipe’s image!

Press Import and your recipe is imported!
